William “Kyle” Iverson proudly announces his candidacy for the 2018 election to represent District 4 on the Napa Valley College Board of Trustees.
“Our college is a reflection of our community and is integral in the lives of those who attend; I believe it should be the same for those who represent it on its Board of Trustees,” Kyle said. “I feel I can best represent my community and fellow students not only because I was a Community College student myself but because I also understand how to work on a Board consisting of 7 members with different backgrounds and opinions. At the end of the day, the job of a College Trustee is to increase student success and ensure that all constituents (students, faculty, staff, neighbors, graduates and you) have access to educational excellence. I am running because I understand that collaboration is more effective and focuses on student needs. I love my community and I want my son to grow up in a place that reveres education.”
